What we do
Three disciplines, one standard: show up, measure everything, finish the punch list.

Solar Development & Construction Management
Design, development and CM for community and utility-scale solar: 14 programs, ~60 MW, $109MM in program value — plus a $50MM utility-scale wind program in North Dakota.

Data Center & Mission-Critical Construction
Five data centers and two call centers delivered for names like United Health Care, Target, Pillsbury and Cray Research — $23.5MM of mission-critical builds plus $8MM in industrial and utility plants.

Site Evaluation & Feasibility
Due diligence for technology and redevelopment sites: electrical service and switchgear, mechanical and cooling plant, fiber connectivity, and records — before you commit capital.
Behind-the-meter community solar
Arrays built beside the buildings they serve — so every kilowatt produced offsets the residents' own electric consumption.

As construction manager we oversee design, engineering and installation of multi-megawatt arrays connected directly behind the meter for multi-family and mixed-use developments — working alongside property owners, master developers, energy advisors and legal counsel to bring each project from parcel to energization.
- Stormwater catch basins joined by engineered creeks
- Pollinator-friendly low-grow prairie planting — no mowing, real habitat
- Underground feeders, screened equipment, natural visual buffers
- Typical construction schedules of about 30 weeks
- Fully demountable — designed to return to farmland or park at end of life

Built where others would not: the Rockford array on the Kishwaukee River flood plain, Lena on embedded rock shelves at the edge of the driftless area, and DeKalb powering a 530-unit multi-family housing development.
Mission-critical track record
$23.5MM of data center and call center builds, delivered on schedule for owners who cannot tolerate downtime.
| Facility | Contract Value |
|---|---|
| United Health Care Data Center | $4MM |
| Target Data Center | $4MM |
| D.P.S. Data Center | $4MM |
| Pillsbury Data Center | $4MM |
| Cray Research Tech Center | $3MM |
| United Health Call Center | $2MM |
| MSP Parking Revenue Data Center | $1.5MM |
| D.P.S. Call Center | $1MM |
Industrial & utility plants ($8MM+): Owens-Corning shingle plant ($2MM), PEC plastics plants ($5MM), and the Xcel Energy King Generating Plant expansion ($1MM).
Data center site evaluation. For owners and developers weighing a legacy facility or a new technology hub, we run the full due-diligence sweep: electrical service size and switchgear condition, one-line and riser diagrams, HVAC and central plant assessment, fiber routes and carrier presence, and complete records review — so the decision is made on evidence, not optimism.
Built with the land in mind
Every Green Circuit site is engineered to give back more than it takes.

Water, managed
At DeKalb we rerouted the existing creek across the array, installed check dams to slow retention-pond overflow, and placed rip-rap to stop erosion.

Critter-friendly habitat
Pollinator-friendly, low-grow prairie plantings under and around our arrays — real ecological benefit for the project's whole lifetime.

Natural landscaping
No-mow ground cover means minimal upkeep, no chemicals, and sites designed to be demounted and returned to farmland or park.
Every project starts with a feasibility study
Technical and financial viability — assessed before construction begins.
Site assessment
Roof or ground condition, structure, shading, existing electrical capacity.
Energy demand
12–24 months of utility history; sizing and battery/peak-shaving assessment.
System design
Module, inverter and mounting specs; production modeling from local irradiance.
Economics
Install, permitting and O&M costs; ITC, rebates and incentives; ROI and payback.
Permitting
Zoning, codes, net metering rules and utility interconnection approval.
Stronger together: the Power Zone Solution partnership
Green Circuit works hand-in-hand with Power Zone Solution — the DeKalb, Illinois energy and infrastructure firm — on joint solar, data center and site-evaluation programs across the Midwest.
